LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: A light to moderate trade developed late 
Friday afternoon with dressed deals ranging from $199 to $200, 
mostly $200, fully steady with the previous week's weighted 
average basis Nebraska. Business in the South was at $125, 
steady with the prior week's weighted average. According to the 
Friday afternoon Mandatory reports weekly trade volumes were as 
follows: KS 349; NE 912; TX 0; CO 0; IA 9,678. Keep in mind 
that these totals were released well before any significant 
trade developed. 

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is quiet this morning with 
bids and asking prices not established as of yet. Significant 
trade volume will likely be delayed until the second half of 
the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be higher with generally 
light box movement.
 
For the week ending February 09, 2019, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 36,507, 87.33% of the previous week 
and 89.56% of the prior 4-week average.
